Led by Rosemary Collier and Murray Grant, University of Warwick, Murray with his colleague Prof. Rosemary Collier (associate CEIA board
member) and others developed a Green Paper ‘Growing British’ in response to the significant trade gap for fresh produce (£9.61bn in
2021) and lack of coherent R&D strategy, particularly in the wake of the AHDB Horticulture’s demise. Warwick have been central to the Green Paper and are interested in further developing the strategy with the support of CEIA.
