Led by James Lowenberg-DeBoer, Harper Adams University, part of the Centre for Effective Innovation in Agriculture
Following on from recent meetings of crop robot stakeholders, it was agreed with the British Standards Institute (BSI) that a Code of Practice for crop robotics should be defined. James and a colleague used quantitative tools (e.g. budgeting, linear programming) and a review of this has now been adopted and published as the British Standards Institute (BSI) Autonomous Mobile Crop Machine Code of Practice.
