The Addington Fund campaigns to raise funds to support farmers affected by disease. The hardship funds contribute to supporting the welfare of farmers.
Initially set up to help farmers suffering with the consequences of classical swine fever and the 2001 foot and mouth outbreak, they are now a specialist farming and rural charity, providing disaster relief and houses for families in England and Wales who must leave the industry and therefore their home, through no fault of their own.
